Settings

The Settings panel (bottom of the dashboard sidebar) lets you configure your shop profile, branding, equipment, and account preferences.


Shop Defaults

Your global cost configuration — labor rates, markup, materials library, hardware prices, molding profiles, and construction standards. Changes here apply to all future projects.

Custom Outbound Email

Available on: Shop plan

By default, client emails (share links, approval notifications) are sent from a generic Cabora address. With a custom email slug, they come from an address that looks like your shop.

How to set it up:

  1. Go to Settings → Outbound Email.
  2. Type a slug — for example, oakstreetcabinets.
  3. Cabora checks availability in real time. Slugs are alphanumeric with hyphens allowed (e.g. oak-street).
  4. Click Save to claim it.

Once saved, client emails are sent from oakstreetcabinets@cabora.ai.

Slugs are unique across all Cabora accounts — first to claim it keeps it.


Shop Branding

Available on: Shop plan

Add your logo and company name to all client-facing exports — the quote PDF, proposal PDF, drawings cover page, and client share page.

Go to Settings → Shop Branding to upload your logo and enter your company name and contact info.


Equipment Profile

The Equipment Profile tells Cabora which tools your shop has — table saw, miter saw, track saw, panel saw — and how they're configured. This drives how the cut optimizer sequences cuts and how Shop Mode groups them by station.

Team Members

Available on: Shop plan

Invite team members to your account from Settings → Team. Each member can be assigned:

  • Editor — full access to edit all projects
  • Viewer — read-only access

Team members don't need a separate Cabora subscription for shared projects — they access everything through your Shop account.

Billing

Manage your subscription, view invoices, and upgrade or downgrade your plan from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately.


Data & Privacy

Export a ZIP of all your project data from Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data. This includes raw project data but not generated PDFs or cut lists (those are re-generated on demand).
