Exports
Cabora can export several types of documents for shop production and client communication. This guide covers what each export is, what it includes, and exactly how to access it.
All exports are accessed from the Export button in the top bar, or from the specific tab where the document lives.
Shop Drawing PDF
What it is: A professional multi-sheet drawing set for your shop floor.
What it includes:
- Axonometric (3D overview) of the full room layout
- Dimensioned plan view (top-down) of the room
- Front elevation drawings for each wall run, with individual cabinet dimensions labeled
- Floor and ceiling reference lines
- Cabinet labels matching the cut list
- Title block with project name, your shop name, and date
How to export:
- Go to the Drawings tab at the top of the editor.
- Review the elevation drawings — each wall run appears as its own drawing sheet.
- Click Export Drawing Sheets (PDF).
- The PDF downloads to your computer.
Available on: Studio, Shop
Quote PDF
What it is: A clean, client-facing summary of the project price.
What it includes:
- Total retail price
- Price per linear foot
- Itemized breakdown: materials, hardware, labor, overhead, and margin
- Your shop branding (logo and company name on Shop plan)
How to export:
- Click Export in the top bar.
- Select Quote PDF.
Available on: Studio, Shop
Bill of Materials PDF
What it is: A detailed internal material and hardware list — more granular than the quote, used for ordering and tracking build costs.
What it includes:
- Every sheet good with quantity, unit cost, and total
- Every hardware item (hinges, slides, pulls, pins) with quantity and unit cost
- Labor hours by operation
- Grand total cost vs. retail price (shows your margin)
How to export:
- Click Export in the top bar.
- Select Bill of Materials PDF.
Available on: Studio, Shop
Client Proposal PDF
What it is: A polished client-ready document combining the design overview and pricing.
What it includes:
- Your shop's logo and contact information (if configured in Shop Branding)
- Project name, client name, and date
- AI renders or elevation drawings (depending on plan)
- Pricing summary (the quote section)
- Project details and specifications
How to export:
- Click Export in the top bar.
- Select Client Proposal PDF.
Or, when sending a proposal from a Job, the proposal PDF is generated and linked automatically in the client's share page.

Cut List CSV
What it is: A spreadsheet-compatible export of every cut part in the project.
What it includes:
- One row per part
- Columns: Cabinet, Part Name, Width, Length, Thickness, Qty, Material, Grain direction, Sheet assignment (if optimized)
How to export:
- Go to the Cut Planner tab.
- Click Export → Cut List CSV.
- The CSV downloads — open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or import into your shop management software.

Label Export PDF
What it is: Printable labels for every cut part, formatted for Avery label sheets.
What it includes (per label):
- Part name and parent cabinet
- Dimensions (width × length × thickness)
- Material and edge banding spec
- Sheet reference (which optimized sheet and position)
- QR code with part details
How to export:
- Go to the Cut Planner tab.
- Click Export Labels.
- Choose your label format:
- Avery 5163 — 2″ × 4″, 10 labels/page, good for standard use
- Avery 5160 — 1″ × 2.625″, 30 labels/page, good for smaller parts
- Choose grouping: By sheet (follow your cut sequence) or By cabinet (follow your assembly sequence).
- Click Export — the PDF downloads, ready to print.

DXF CAD Export
What it is: An ASCII DXF R12 file of the plan view and elevations, ready to import into CAD or CNC software.
What it includes:
- Cabinet outlines in plan and elevation views
- Full dimensions and text labels
- Reference lines
- Fill regions
- Layers: Cabinet outlines, Dimensions, Text labels, Reference lines, Fill regions
How to export:
- Go to the Drawings tab.
- Click Export DXF.
- Import the file into AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or your CNC post-processor.
Available on: Studio, Shop
Shop Package (ZIP)
What it is: All shop documents bundled in a single download.
What it includes:
- Shop Drawings PDF
- Cut List CSV
- Bill of Materials PDF
- Any other configured export documents
How to export:
- Click Export in the top bar.
- Select Shop Package (ZIP).
- The ZIP downloads with all documents named and organized by type.

Branding your exports
On Shop plan, add your logo and company information to all client-facing PDFs — the quote, proposal, drawings cover page, and client share page.
- Go to Settings → Shop Branding.
- Upload your logo (PNG or SVG recommended).
- Enter your company name, address, phone, and any other contact details you want on documents.
- Save — branding appears on all future exports immediately.
