AI Features

Cabora includes several AI-powered tools to help you design faster and smarter. Each is available on specific plans.

AI Advisor

Available on: Maker (10/mo), Studio (25/mo), Shop (unlimited). Unlimited on Studio with the AI Pro Pack add-on.

The AI Advisor reviews your current layout and surfaces design suggestions based on your specific project. It evaluates:

• Corner cabinet efficiency
• Symmetry and visual balance
• Storage capacity and dead zones
• Workflow ergonomics (work triangle, clearances)
• Vertical space usage
• Cabinet type choices

The Advisor returns 3–8 prioritized suggestions (high / medium / low) with references to specific cabinets. Each suggestion explains the problem and what to do about it.

How to use: Open the AI panel (bottom-right button) and click Analyze Design.

AI Copilot (Chat)

Available on: Studio (50 msgs/mo), Shop (unlimited). Unlimited on Studio with the AI Pro Pack add-on.

The AI Copilot is a conversational assistant with full access to your project data — dimensions, materials, costs, and cut results. Ask it anything about your design:

• "What's the most efficient way to handle this corner?"
• "How much does this project cost in materials?"
• "Move the island 6 inches to the right."
• "What's my total hinge count?"

The Copilot can also make changes to your design directly — update cabinet sizes, reposition objects, or change types — all from a natural language instruction.

How to use: Open the AI panel and type your question or instruction.

AI Optimizer

Available on: Studio, Shop

The AI Optimizer analyzes your build for efficiency opportunities — places where you can reduce waste, consolidate materials, or standardize parts to save time and money. It evaluates:

• Sheet yield and waste percentage
• Material consolidation (reducing the number of sheet types)
• Part standardization (repeated sizes that could be cut together)
• Grain direction optimization
• Stock sheet size selection

The Optimizer returns 3–8 insights with estimated savings (in dollars or sheet counts).

How to use: Open the AI panel and click Optimize Build.

AI Brief-to-Layout

Available on: Studio, Shop

Describe a room in plain language and AI will generate a complete cabinet layout for you. Useful for quickly roughing in a design or exploring layout options.

Example prompts:

• "L-shaped kitchen, 12 feet by 10 feet, with an island and a 36" range on the back wall"
• "Galley bathroom, 8 feet long, double vanity"

The AI generates base and wall cabinets, positions appliances, and places the layout on your canvas. You can edit everything afterward.

How to use: From a new or empty project, open the AI panel and click Generate Layout, then describe the room.

AI Renders

Available on: Shop (100/mo), Studio with the AI Pro Pack add-on (50/mo). Trial users get 3 free renders during the 14-day trial.

AI Renders produce photorealistic images of your cabinet design. They're useful for showing clients a realistic preview before build.

Each render takes about 10–20 seconds to generate. Renders are saved to the project and can be included in client-facing exports.

Need more? One-time render packs (25, 100, or 500 credits) can be purchased from Settings → Billing on Studio or Shop.

How to use: Open the 3D tab, then click Generate Render in the AI panel.

Tips for better renders:

• Rotate the canvas first — the render uses your current 3D view angle. Orbit the canvas to a perspective that shows the design well before generating.
• Set your render preferences — click Render Prefs (or the Appearance panel) to configure style preset, wall color, countertop material, hardware finish, appliance style, backsplash, and lighting. The more detail you provide, the more realistic the result.
• Use per-cabinet paint colors — click any cabinet or appliance in the editor and use the color picker to assign a specific paint color to that piece. This lets you design two-tone layouts (e.g. a contrasting island) or preview a specific finish before committing. These per-cabinet colors are included in the render.
